Holy Cow Moment ?: I survived. I made it to mothers day 1!!!! And for the record mothers day isn't about being a mom its celebrating survival. Mostly of the mom...but maybe the child too.

My husband is a wonderful man and will not let me forget I am a mom...as if one could forget while their child is clinging to their leg making it unusable for the foreseeable feature. This past year has been a blessing in more ways then i can count but there have been a million trials. I feel like i am a better person these days and it is all thanks to my daughter.

Being a mom has meant that I had to get used to being thrown up on, pooped on, cried on, having my body altered to unrecognizable proportions, never sleeping again to name a few. But being a mom has also meant lots of hugs and kisses, giggles and smiles galore, little tiny hands to stroke my cheek, someone to hold during a thunderstorm and a million little things that make my heart lighter.

To all those moms out there, be your child canine or human, Happy Mothers Day. It takes a special woman to be fill the shoes of a mom. (Also in some cases being an Aunt is just as important.)
